CSAAR
2007 conference addresses regional architecture and
identity in the built environment in the context of
globalization. We look forward to proposals that address
any of the topics falling within the scope of the
conference themes.
1) Instructions for
Submission of an Abstract for a Poster
Those
interested to submit a Poster Paper should submit
an abstract of no more than 300 words, on or before
April 15. Abstract of the
proposed poster should state clearly the purpose,
methodology and expected conclusions of the work to be
described in the final poster paper.
The
Organizing Committee will review all abstracts and
proposals for technical merit and suitability. The
Committee may require full poster paper revision before final
approval and reserve the right to reject any proposal
that does not meet content or presentation expectations.
Posters
accepted will be listed in the Conference
Proceedings.
The conference will set aside an area for
presetting/exhibition of posters. Instructions for
presentations will be sent to authors by email
Poster Format:
Format A1 (84cm/60cm), vertical (portrait)
Free layout, including :
- The poster’s TITLE, the authors’ NAME, ORGANIZATION,
and ADDRESS (mail and Email) at the top left hand corner
- "CSAAR 2007" at the top right hand corner (font :
ARIAL, size : 48 or more, capital letters)
- Font : ARIAL
Participants are expected to give their poster upon
arrival at the conference to the registration desk’s
people.
2) Instructions
for Submission of a Proposal for a Plenary Session/
Panel Discussion
Proposals from those who would like to facilitate a
panel discussion are welcomed. The conference will set
aside space for those who wish to pursue discussion of a
particular topic or issue.
Interested individuals should submit an abstract of no
more than 300 words, on or before April 15. Abstract of the proposed panel
should state clearly the activity, purpose and expected
outcomes of the panel. In addition, the proposal should
indicate the duration of the panel discussion.
Proposed topics will be reviewed by the Organizing
Committee.
Authors may request their position papers to be
subject to blind peer review, in this case position
papers should be submitted on Aril 30, 2007.
Position papers peer reviewed and accepted for panels will be published in
the Conference Proceedings.
The decision of CSAAR 2007 on whether to
accept a submission is final.

3) Instructions for
Submission of a Proposal for a Workshop
Proposals from those who would like to facilitate a
workshop for conference participants are welcome.
Workshop abstracts will be listed in the Conference
Proceedings.
Interested individuals should submit an abstract of up
to 300 words on or before April 15. Abstract of the proposed workshop should
state clearly the activity, purpose and expected
outcomes of the workshop. In addition, the proposal
should indicate the duration of the workshop and if it
requires a particular type of space.
The
Organizing Committee will review all proposals for
suitability. The decision of CSAAR 2007 on whether to
accept a submission is final.

Authors of posters
and Leaders of Workshops and panel discussions are
responsible for meeting the costs of their
registration, travel and accommodation.
